Our responsibilities to people with NRPF status
We have a duty to support:
- people who have leave to remain but no recourse to public funds
- those who have a need for social care
- families where the children are destitute or at risk of being destitute
You may have a need for social care linked to:
- old age
- mental or physical ill-health
- pregnancy
- having responsibility for children who are homeless or at risk of being homeless
We may have a duty to support other categories of migrants and asylum seekers if failure to do so would result in a breach of certain human rights.
