Join the library

If you become a member of Southwark libraries, you: 

• can borrow up to 15 items of any type
• can renew items in person, over the phone or online
• must return or renew items by the date shown on the date label or receipt
• must pay a fine if you return or renew late 
• will not be able to borrow items until you have paid what you owe in full if you have charges of £10 or more on your account 
• can return items to any Southwark library
• must be a library member to use the free Wi-Fi or access the computers
