eBooks and eAudiobooks
eBooks and eAudiobooks are free to borrow, renew and reserve online for library members.
There are a wide range of titles to choose from, including bestsellers, prize-winners and classics for all ages.
There are no overdue fines to worry about.
You can loan or borrow a maximum of 15 eBooks and 15 eAudiobooks at any one time.
How it works
To download eBooks and eAudiobooks on your phone or device, you'll need to install the BorrowBox app. You can access the same account from up to 6 devices using the app.
PC, Mac or eReader users can download eBooks and eAudiobooks directly from the BorrowBox website.
To get started, sign in with:
- your library card number
- your pin number/password
If you’re not already a library member, join the library.
Downloading eBooks
Listening to eAudiobooks
You can browse the audiobooks catalogue from the app and select up to 15 titles to borrow. You can download the audiobook chapter by chapter. Chapters that you have listened to can be deleted to free up space on your device.
Reserve eBooks and eAudiobooks
Reservations are free and can be placed against any eBook or eAudiobook title that is on loan to another borrower. The date that will become available will be listed. Your reservation guarantees your place in the queue. If a title is returned early by another borrower, you will be informed.
