Learning in libraries
We can help you get online for the first time, and study for a citizenship or driving theory test
We offer free tuition from trained library staff in small groups or in one-to-one sessions.
It’s an informal environment and you can go at a pace that suits you.
Learn how to:
- use a computer or tablet for the first time
- use the internet and email
- find a job online
- study for your citizenship test online
- learn your driving theory test online
How to book
Session times vary so ask in any Southwark library for details and how to book a session. You can also email or call us.
If you’re not already a member of Southwark Libraries, join for free online or in a library.
This allows you to borrow books and other materials to support your learning, as well as access computers, tablets and Wi-Fi in the libraries.
Online tests and exams
You can practice for your citizenship or driving theory test using a free library computer.
You need to be a member to use the computers and Wi-Fi.
You can also use a library tablet at:
- Canada Water Library
- Dulwich Library
- Peckham Library
- Walworth Library
All of our libraries are part of the National Digital Inclusion Network, set up to help you get online.
