If you're unable to visit Southwark Archives, you can try these options.

Our postal copying service

We can copy and send materials to you for a fee. You’ll need to give us specific details of information you want, like:

• exact date
• address
• any other relevant information, for example event type for parish registers
• content of a newspaper story

This is not a research service, so we will not search the records for a specific name. The fee is payable in advance and is non-refundable, even if we cannot find the information requested.

Our research service

If you would like us to do research, we charge a fee of £28 per half-hour.
