Prevent breakdowns

To keep lifts in good working order, do not:

  • spit in lifts
  • urinate or allow your pet to urinate in the lift
  • hold lift doors open
  • kick any objects into the door tracks, runners or gaps
  • press the alarm unless you are trapped inside the lift
  • wedge the lift doors open – this could damage the door mechanism

Report a non-emergency repair

Before reporting check:

When reporting give as much information as you can, like:

  • the nearest door number
  • floor level
  • street lamp number
