Blue Badge scheme

Park close to your destination. Where you can park and travel for free. Check eligibility.

The aim of the scheme is to help people with severe mobility problems caused by visible and non-visible (‘hidden’) disabilities to access goods and services, by allowing them to park close to their destination.

You can be a passenger or a driver.

Children under 3 may qualify if they:

  • must always be accompanied by bulky medical equipment which cannot be carried around without great difficulty
  • must be near a vehicle at all times, so that they can be treated in the vehicle or quickly driven to a place where they can be treated (such as a hospital)
