We have parking bays where you pay to park your vehicle for a set amount of time. You can apply to have this time limit suspended so you can park in a bay for one or more days.

You must give us 7 days notice. Emergency suspensions for work such as repairing gas leaks are the only exception.
You can pay when you apply online. We also accept payments by BACS and cheques by prior arrangement. Email us at parking@southwark.gov.uk or call 0800 138 9081 or 0344 800 2736.
When parking bays are suspended, a yellow warning notice is put on the nearest sign 5 days before the suspension starts. Motorists should always check that a bay is not suspended before parking.
If you have a parking permit or a Blue Badge and need to leave your car for several days, you should check each day that the parking bay is not suspended.
The following charges apply for booking a parking bay suspension:
If you cancel the parking bay suspension more than 5 days before it starts, you will be refunded the daily charges but not the admin fees. There are no refunds if you cancel less than 5 days before it starts.
