There are plenty of groups for walkers in Southwark.
The Ramblers provide a varied programme of group-led walks. Walkers of all abilities are welcome. Non-members can try walking for free before joining a group.
The Metropolitan Walkers are a walking group for people in their 20s to early 40s. They organise walks anywhere that's accessible by public transport from central London.
The South Bank Ramblers has a diverse membership covering a range of ages and backgrounds. They walk at the weekends and on weekdays with walks of varied length and difficulty.

The London Strollers walks are short and go at a leisurely pace, ideal for people who are new to walking or who don't want to walk long distances
The Capital Walkers are aimed at people aged 35 to 55. Just turn up, there's no need to book.
A low impact walking exercise, where specially designed poles are used as a resistance tool to engage the upper body. Join weekly sessions in Burgess Park, Canada Water and Dulwich Park.
