Previous charging schedules

Each year, we adjust charging schedules to account for inflation.

Infrastructure funding statements (IFS) are now published annually. They are lists of projects or types of infrastructure we will fund through CIL. Before IFS we issued annual charging schedules. 

First CIL charging schedule

After a public examination, we approved our CIL proposals and our first charging schedule in March 2015. They took effect on 1 April 2015. Southwark CIL therefore applies to CIL developments that were granted planning permission on or after this date. 

The schedule was revised in 2017 to make sure we got enough money for local infrastructure, particularly to support growth in the Old Kent Road opportunity area.

We consulted on the revised draft charging schedule between January and March 2017, which we amended in November 2017 after our schedule was scrutinised by an independent examiner.
