The Statement of community involvement (PDF, 361KB) (SCI) sets out our commitment to involving local communities, businesses and other organisations in all planning decisions.

The SCI identifies:

who will be asked
how they will be asked
when they will be asked

The government requires us to publish this document. It shows how our residents and businesses are involved in planning decisions.

The current SCI was adopted on 6 December 2022 and replaces the previous 2008 version.
