The Southwark Plan 2022 sets out the vision, strategic objectives, and planning policies for development in Southwark for the period 2019 to 2036.

Neighbourhood planning gives you more of a role in the planning of your neighbourhood. It's a process led by the community and supported by us.

An Article 4 direction allows us to withdraw some permitted development rights in a specified area.

Our supplementary planning documents (SPDs) provide extra guidance about the policies in our development plan.

We are carrying out a call for sites to help us prepare our Local Plan.

Local Development Orders (LDO) grant permission for a specified type of development, which means no planning application is needed.
