The Healthy Lifestyle Hub provides free support to all Southwark residents who would like to make positive changes but need a little bit of help to get going. They can help you:

  • make positive lifestyle changes
  • become and stay physically active

If you are a Southwark resident aged 18 or over, you may be eligible for free help from Weight Watchers. Find out if you are eligible.

Guy’s and St Thomas’ run healthy weight programmes (including a 12-week online group programme for people aged 18 or over who are registered with a GP in Southwark or talk to your GP for a referral.

Online advice

Southwark’s digital health and wellbeing coach is an online chatbot. It will never tell you what to do but supports you to think about how you might want to make positive changes to your life. The coach was created by health experts and Southwark residents who wanted to make improvements to their health and wellbeing.

Second Nature’s 12-week weight loss app is designed to give you the tools and support you need to improve your relationship with food. You may need to pay for the app. You'll work with a dedicated health coach to increase your activity levels, create balanced meals, tackle negative thought patterns, learn how to deal with setbacks and get the support of a peer group.
