Join Southwark Libraries for an inspiring walk through the borough’s vibrant art scene on Friday 20th June 2025. Starting at Una Marson Library at 14:00, this three-hour guided tour includes about 90 minutes of walking alongside ample time to explore art along the route.
We will visit three library branches, three art galleries, striking public sculptures, and Southwark’s creative spaces, finishing at Canada Water Library at 17:00. Discover the stories behind the artworks, local cultural landmarks, and explore the literary and artistic connections in the area.
The route is level and paved, with accessible toilets at the beginning, middle, and end, plus multiple chances to refill drinking water. Please note that we’ll be crossing busy roads and keeping a steady (but relaxed) pace to fit everything in. For accessibility enquiries, contact libraries@southwark.gov.uk.
Booking a free ticket through Eventbrite is optional, but will allow you to get updates and information in advance of the walk.
Please note - this is not a circular walk. We will begin at Una Marson Library but end at Canada Water Library.
