Come and join the Camberwell conversation for a fun, informative evening, a free drink and welcoming atmosphere.
One Giant Leap: Jade Johnson: Monday 12 May, 7pm
What does it take to compete in international athletics for 17 years? Hear Jade’s outstanding journey as GB long jumper, from silver medallist at the European & Commonwealth Games to the World Championships and Olympics - and Strictly Come Dancing!
Microbial Revolution: Mark Wilkinson: Monday 2 June, 7pm
How can tiny bacteria found in a Camberwell garden help save future lives? Find out from biotech specialist Mark, who is working with chemicals from microscopic bacteria to create safer, more effective drugs for us all.
Women flying high: Lily Ford: Monday 7 July, 7pm
A top-flight filmmaker and historian, Lily will tell the often erased history of women who worked in British aviation. With clips from her series of films, including the latest commended film about World War I women - Light Hands.
