Description

The workshop will begin with a guided walk through Rye Lane’s markets, exploring international produce, sharing personal food stories and speaking with market stall holders. Then, we’ll make our way to Peckham Levels for a still life drawing workshop, using our market fruits and veg as inspiration, experimenting with different styles and techniques. No creative experience needed, this should be a fun exercise for all abilities.

Regan's food stories mural will be painted in March. We hope for some of these drawn designs to contribute to the final mural design.

🍇 Who can join?
This workshop is for ages 14+. Food stories, recipes, and traditions are often passed down through generations, so we warmly encourage a wide age range to take part.

🍊 Who is this for?
To ensure the mural reflects the community, we welcome participants who live in or have a strong connection to Peckham. If you’re from outside the area, we kindly ask you to consider whether this opportunity should be prioritised for local voices.
