Description

This short film was shot on Super-8 by Sue Madden, daughter of the later Dr Tom Madden who had been a GP in Peckham for over 40 years; his surgery was just a few paces from the church. Sue used film as part of her art work whilst attending Camberwell School of Arts.

The film is shot at different times of the day. It shows a work person on top of the shell of the church presumably removing the stone. There are views of the surrounding streets including a shot of Milwood Cafe on 273 Old Kent Road. The film also shows views from the Madden's flat at 4b Queen's Road looking out to the gardens and the clearing of the GP surgery.
