Internships

An internship is a meaningful work placement. It must last at least 4 weeks.

Internships we and our partners support must:

• offer a structured opportunity to complete ‘real work’
• pay at least the London Living Wage 
• include standard employee benefits
• be offered to undergraduates, recent graduates, or sixth form students who are Southwark residents

Employers are also encouraged to achieve the Mayor’s Good Work Standard when employing an intern. This helps to achieve a fairer and more inclusive London economy.
