Reporting issues with equipment or adaptations

If equipment like a bathlift or mobile hoist need repairing, replacing or returning call 030 0100 0253. This includes out of hours if it’s an emergency. 

If an adaptation is within 1 year old call 0207 525 1866.

If your equipment or adaptation was funded through a Disabled Facilities Grant and is still within 1 year old, call 0207 525 1873. 

Council tenants

If you’re a council tenant and have a stairlift, individual lift or ceiling hoist call us on:

  • 020 7525 2600 
  • 0800 952 4444 out of hours (after 5pm Mon to Fri, weekends and bank holidays)

Housing assocation tenants

Housing association tenants should ask their housing associations who should service, maintain and repair adaptations.

Homeowners

If you own your home you’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining or repairing any adaptations or equipment you’ve paid for after the first year.

Private tenants

Private tenants should ask their landlord if they'll take on any responsibility for repairs and maintenance of the adaptation.
