Request a food hygiene rating revisit
You can ask for a revisit at any time to:
- score your business again
- issue a new food hygiene rating
When you request a revisit, you must give details of:
- the improvements you’ve made
- supporting evidence, such as photos
It costs £244.15 for the revisit.
The revisit will be unannounced, and the inspecting officer will check whether you've made the necessary improvements and met the overall food hygiene standards. Your rating could go up, down, or remain the same.
