Culture Together grants fund

A fund for projects to make our culture sector more inclusive and sustainable

Apply

The application deadline is midnight on 27 Jan 2025. We'll send you a confirmation email once we've received your application.

You apply through our online grants platform. You'll need to create a profile.

You'll be able to save as you go, come back to it later, and access your saved information if you've applied before. You can preview and download the whole application form before you start.

You can access the grant portal from outside the UK. Please be aware that the application deadline and workshops are scheduled as UK time.

What you need to apply

You'll be asked for:

  • eligibility and organisation details
  • project details, outcomes, budget
  • equalities monitoring and declaration
  • your organisation’s governance document
  • your safeguarding policy (if you are working with children or vulnerable adults)
  • a current redacted bank statement in the name of your organisation

You can submit links to supporting documents, videos, or images.

Make sure you answer all the questions in how applications are assessed. Applications for big grants have slightly higher word limits than those for small grants.

Apply with video or audio

If you would rather speak about your project than write, please note this on the application form and use the weblinks at the end to share your video or audio answers. We suggest using a password-protected YouTube link.

Your recordings should be about as long as it would take to read the written answers and need to cover all the questions in the form.

Equalities monitoring

We ask all applying organisations to complete an equality monitoring form to understand more about the diversity of the workforce, leadership and trustees of the organisations applying.

This information is not shared outside the council and does not impact your application.

It helps us understand the diversity within organisations applying for and accessing funding. It also helps us map representation in the culture sector.

Budget requirements

Your budget should list all costs related to the project or strand of activity you're asking us to fund. Give a breakdown of costs where possible.

You can allocate some of the grant to your core costs if they clearly relate to the project.

Use the narrative box in the budget section of the application form to reference any other funding you have secured towards the project.

All workers in paid roles must be paid at least the London Living Wage.
