The Southwark Blue Plaques scheme honours the icons of Southwark. These are the people who’ve made the biggest impact in Southwark and beyond.

The Southwark Blue Plaques scheme is led by the Southwark Heritage Association. 

If you know of someone who you think should be commemorated in a blue plaque, you can nominate them between 1 January and 1 June each year.

You can vote for a nominee between 30 June and 15 September.
