You can:

• request a copy of a birth, death, marriage or civil partnership certificate
• pay a fee to search the historical indexes yourself
• ask a registrar to search for you

The Register Office can only provide certificates for births, death, marriage or civil partnership that were registered in the borough of Southwark from 1837 to the present day.
