Gas safety

As part of our responsibility to you as a council tenant, we’ll:

• do a gas safety check on gas appliances and flues owned by landlords once a year 
• use engineers who are registered on the Gas Safe register
• check all gas pipes and flues during the annual service
• give you a copy of the gas service certificate

We do not check gas appliances owned by tenants. If you own your gas appliances, you're responsible for any repairs.
