Cost
You can use the Leasehold Advisory's lease extension calculator to get a rough estimate of how much the extension will cost.
You'll also pay:
- your legal fees
- the council's legal fees of £259.40 + VAT an hour plus disbursements (expenses)
- a non-refundable administration or claim investigation fee of £362
- valuation fee of £1,180
You'll be responsible for the council’s reasonable fees at each stage of the process, whether or not the extension completes. This includes all fees.
