Improvements have been made to Spa Road to:
- support the growing community
- provide safer access
Some of the changes that have been made are:
- new raised junction with Spa Road and Alscot Road
- new flat top speed hump between Sainsbury’s and Bermondsey Spa Gardens
- widened footway on the Sainsbury’s side of Spa Road
- footway and road resurfacing
- electric vehicle charging points outside Bermondsey
- Spa Gardens
- tree planting near Grange Road
