Apply for a premises licence

Overview
You need a premises licence if you:
- are a retailer selling alcohol
- are a venue providing entertainment, including plays, films, indoor sporting events, live or recorded music, or dance
- provide hot food or drinks between 11pm and 5am
You need to tell us if you want to change or transfer an existing alcohol premises licence.

Right to work
You must show you are allowed to work:
- in the UK
- on a licensable activity

Premises plan
You will need to upload a plan of the premises during the application. Plans do not need to be professionally drawn but must be drawn to scale and include a scale bar and guidance on the scale, for example, ‘1:100 when printed at A4’.
Consent form
Your application must include a consent form from the proposed designated premises supervisor (DPS) if you want to supply alcohol on the premises, off the premises, or online.
