Keep escape routes clear
You and other residents must be able to easily escape if there is a fire. Firefighters must be able to easily get into the building. This is why you must never block:
- escape routes
- emergency routes
- emergency exits
- fire exits
- doors leading from your home
- balcony walkways
- any shared landing, hallway or staircase
