Fire safety

You and other residents must be able to easily escape if there is a fire. Firefighters must be able to easily get into the building. This is why you must never block:

• escape routes 
• emergency routes 
• emergency exits
• fire exits 
• doors leading from your home
• balcony walkways 
• any shared landing, hallway or staircase
