Improvements to slow traffic and aid pedestrian movement
We made changes to Wood Vale to:
- reduce traffic speeds
- discourage through traffic
The improvements included:
- new raised tables to slow traffic and aid pedestrian movement
- replacement of speed cushions with speed humps to slow traffic more effectively
- measures to discourage through traffic from using this section of Wood Vale to access the South Circular/Lordship Lane
- pavement refurbishment on both sides of the road
