Hire a cargo bike with OurBike

We were the first borough in London to introduce the OurBike community e-cargo bike share scheme.

The hire fees are subsidised by us and cost £0.75 for 15 minutes. All new users get 1 hour free on their first ride or 180 minutes if they're a business.

Find where to hire an e-cargo bike

If you’ve never ridden a cargo bike, it’s a good idea to get training. This is free for anyone who has never used an electric cargo bike before. The bikes:

• have 3 wheels
• can carry up to 150kg including the rider
• have seating for 2 children or 1 adult inside 
• have lots of space for cargo

Trial a bike

The Try Before You Bike scheme lets you try out cycling before committing to buying a bike.

You pay monthly online.

Order a bike online and someone will bring the bike to your door with:

• accessories (helmet, lights and lock)
• guidance 
• a personal training session of up to 2 hours 

If you decide the bike is not for you, someone will collect it for free.
