Cycling in Southwark

Cyclists need to take extra care in cold, dark and wet weather.

During freezing weather, we salt (grit) the main roads.

There may still be ice on the road network. Adjust your speed so you can slow and stop in good time at junctions, pedestrian crossings and other busy areas.
