Information for pensioners

Your pension will normally be paid on the 20th of the month. If the 20th is a weekend, it will be paid on the last working day before.

The pension will be paid by direct credit to your bank or building society account. You'll be sent a payslip every month shortly before you receive your payment.

Any retirement grant and lump sum compensation will be paid by BACS to your account. You'll get this a few days after the retirement process is complete, or on your retirement date, if it's later.
