Extra early help

Our Family Early Help service is for families who need more support than the universal early help services can give them.

Children's mental and physical wellbeing service

Mental wellbeing

Early Help Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) is a community mental health team that provides extra early help support.

Social workers, clinical psychologists and other healthcare professionals provide sensitive, respectful care to children and young people.

They work closely with Family Early Help teams to provide a joined-up service.

To be eligible, you must live, study or have a GP in Southwark.

Children and young people get tailored therapy and assessments from the team.

Physical health

Our specialist community public health nurse offers focused health assessments.

They also provide interventions to families with complex health needs.

Children missing school or without regular health checks will be given care and support.
