Affordable housing is monitored to make sure it is built and managed as we agreed with developers and housing associations.
We manage some affordable housing. But, most is run by independent housing associations.
Developers cannot manage affordable housing unless they are a registered provider. Once a development is built, they will usually pass on the management of the affordable homes.
