• how projects get into our quality system
• standard development and work phases they'll need to progress through
• submitting designs for approval
• completing road safety and other independent audits
• how to vary your design from our approved standards
• how to get approval for street furniture not on our street elements register

Many of the procedures need designers to complete and submit certain forms including:

• induction request for (DOCX, 145KB): use if you want to propose a feature to add to the SSDM
• proposal gateway certificate (DOCX, 46KB): describes if your feature is approved
• departure application and certificate (DOCX, 74KB): describes if your proposal will not follow the SSDM is approved
• quality plan form (DOCX 175KB): use to describe the design of your feature
