Elephant and Castle

This new town centre is a redevelopment of the shopping centre and London College of Communication sites. It is being built by Delancey and will create: 

• a focal point for the community
• a range of high street and independent retailers
• restaurant and leisure opportunities 
• a new cutting-edge university campus for London College of Communication
• 979 new homes for the rental market on a site where none currently exist

This will sit alongside a new Northern line tube entrance and ticket hall.

35% of the new homes will be affordable. This includes 116 social rented homes managed by Southwark Council or another registered provider. They will be offered in priority to people living and working in Southwark.
