Stalking
Stalking is a pattern of repeated, unwanted behaviour that makes you feel distressed or scared. It can be behaviour such as:
- regularly sending flowers or gifts
- making unwanted or malicious communication
- damaging property
- physical or sexual assault
If the behaviour is persistent and clearly unwanted, causing you fear, distress or anxiety, then it is stalking and you should not have to live with it.
The Suzy Lamplugh Trust has an online tool that you can use to better understand if you are being stalked, and what support is available.
If you would like help with stalking, you can contact the National Stalking Helpline on 0808 802 0300.
