Southwark Domestic Abuse Service

Southwark Domestic Abuse Service (SDAS), run by Refuge, works with any person who has experienced gender-based violence including domestic abuse, sexual assault, and harmful-practices. If you are a professional looking to refer a survivor to SDAS, use the SDAS referral form.

Multi-agency risk assessment conference (MARAC)

We administer Southwark’s MARAC for high-risk domestic abuse cases. You can download the MARAC referral form.

If you need to make a MARAC referral, or would like to discuss a referral, email marac@southwark.gov.uk 

SafeLives has a range of resources for professionals on MARAC processes, referrals and risk assessments.

Adult social care

If you have safeguarding concerns regarding an adult, contact one of our adult social care teams.

Children’s social care

If you have safeguarding concerns regarding a child, refer them to our children's social care and MASH teams.

Southwark VAWG forum

We facilitate the borough’s Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) forum. 

The forum is a space for voluntary and community sector professionals to

  • share learning
  • connect with the sector
  • liaise with relevant statutory partners
