Heat networks

To stay warm, save money and reduce carbon emissions, you should:

• familiarise yourself with your heating controls
• turn your heating off when you don’t need it
• turn down your thermostat by just 1°C can make a difference
• close your curtains at dusk to keep the heat in
• have a quick shower rather than a bath – showers use a lot less hot water
• keep internal doors closed to reduce draughts
