Cyclists need to take extra care in cold, dark and wet weather. During freezing weather, we salt (grit) the main roads. There may still be ice on the road network. Joining a cycling group is a great way to increase your confidence and socialise. Local cycling groups include Southwark Breezers, who offer women-only rides. You can also search for a local cycling group on the Let’s Ride website.
